With all the American Gangster remix albums coming at me yesterday, I somehow over looked this one from dude calling himself Lil’ Prophet. Thanks Brad, for point me out to this one!
He probably could have done a better job on the album cover, though. Maybe you can hook him up, Krome! If it’s worth the effort anyway. I haven’t heard this one yet either, but I better catch up before more remixes leak. I think I’m gonna start on my own this weekend; I got a few ideas that might sound nice.

*Edit: I just got finished listening to this one and it’s definitely the worst of the bunch so far. It’s got a few good beats, but dude should learn how to beatmatch an acapella with an instrumental before he releases something. I would not have even put my name on it, if I were him. Tracks are all over the place; hardly listenable. Oh well, I’m sure we’ll get a bunch of these…

I agree with everything you said. I was on the message board where Lil’ Prophet posted the album, and I told him that things weren’t matching up on some of the songs.
Yeah, I didn’t mean to sound too harsh, it’s just that it’s obviously really bad. It’s a shame cuz a lot of the beats are tight and it could have sounded hot, but he should have spent a little more time getting the acapellas laid right. In his defense, the AG acapellas particularly are tough to lay down over instrumentals and get the BPMs matched up right. I messed around with my own remixes last night and finally gave up. That’s why people make livings doing this ish. It’s not as easy as it seems.
