I thought about changing the title name of these American Gangster remix posts, but I’m curious to see how many rounds (albums) we’re gonna get. This next one comes from DJ Doc Roc, hailing from the DC Metro area. He mixes American Gangster with the legendary Led Zeppelin and it is appropriately titled, American Zeppelin.
I did preview this one first at DJ Doc Rok’s MySpace, so this is not another crap remix album. I’m not saying it’s great since I haven’t heard the whole thing yet, but it sounds solid from the 2 tracks I’ve heard.
We should be hearing a bunch more before the year’s up. I’ll post them as soon as I get them!

i took a first listen…sounds way better than the tape before. nice but not that perfekt like the first ones i think now ever

You know there’s gonna be some more like this, but you’re right; no one has brought it yet like the first few that dropped early last week. I hear there’s supposed to be a couple of hot ones coming out by the end of the week. I’ll keep you posted.
I just got done giving this one a good listen and I like it. I know a lot of people aren’t gonna be in to the Led Zeppelin theme, but the production is tight and DJ Doc Rok made it work!
overall, one of my favs
