Back In Business: The Samples

I gotta thank my man Diz for putting this sample collection together! The latest posting of The Low Down Theory samples got people hyped and digging. Many, many tanks to Diz for hooking this one up and sharing his work with all of us here. If any other diggers out there have collections they would like to share, feel free to hit me up. Back in Business, released on September 16, 1997, is the return album from the hip hop duo EPMD, who broke up due to personal problems in 1992. After releasing four successful albums between 1988 and 1992 (three of them being considered classics), EPMD returned with this successful effort. Much of Back in Business captures the wild spirit of EPMD’s classic late-’80s albums, complete with dense layers of sounds, samples and funky beats.
