Yeah, well, the 12 Days of Getback is finally over. Even if it was technically 11 days, which lasted damn close to 3 weeks! But we still got love for ya, Phonte & Pooh! The fact that they even made these outtakes available was amazing… so I ain’t bein’ greedy.
For those of you who missed the daily downloads over the holidays, Phonte was kind enough to zip em up and offer them all for download in one package. The outtakes are nice, but to me the real prize was reading Phonte’s blog posts everyday to get a “behind-the-scenes” look at the songs of Getback. This all shows that Little Brother are some real down-to-earth guys who really care about their fans.

LB is the most slept-on and underrated group in hip hop right now.
Yeah, I agree…. but do you think they’d be any different if they wound up going mainstream? LB’s got fans and as long as they keep puttin out quality music, I’m happy.
their idea of mainstream was the atlantic deal, and we all know how that ended.
so dont think there’d be any difference, seeing how they had the opportunity to do a mainstream appeal album, but decided on doing the minstrel show instead
