Man, I’ve had so much on my plate lately that I didn’t get a chance to put together this week’s Wednesday Downloads. For those of you craving new mixtapes, head on over to Underground Reign and Hip Hop Update for the latest stuff. As for this site, I got a few sample collections in the works, a few more American Gangster remix albums to post, and The Best of The American Gangster Remixes, Vol. II. Plus I’m talking with some people to get some new artist spotlights up. Look for a surprise sample collection later this week, compiled by myself and Ivan from Hip-Hop Is Read. Ok, enough talk… let’s get to this feature.
The next American Gangster remix is a certified banger! This is Lyrical Gangster and was produced by Ms. JeyLah (from Los Angeles) and JizzaPro (out of London). If this is what happens when two producers from different countries work together, I wanna hear more collabos like this! They definitely made my selections for Vol. II much harder. From what I understand, no samples were used for this project… all original compositions. There are a few rock-tinged tracks that are incredible. You all gotta hear this one for yourselves!

LOL @ Kevin redirecting e-traffic to other blogs.
You’re like, “Fuggit, you fiends go over there to cop your fix, I’m busy!”
I can’t say I’m mad at you for what you picked on A.G. Remixes Vol. 1. Eclectic, yet somehow cohesive.
I’m still amazed you took the time to listen to 70+ versions of each song and pick your favorite. I dunno ’bout anybody else, but I’m all Jay-Z’d out!
LOL… why should I do work that other cats have already done? LOL
Yeah, I’m def Jay-Z’d out too, but some of these remixers keep bringing heat!
Here’s another concept album if anyone’s listening… The Real American Gangsters (that’s right… plural) and put some other acapellas over your beats… Biggie, Nas, Ice-T… what! American Ganster is about played out already.
What I’d really love is for some of the producers to release INSTRUMENTAL ONLY versions of these remixes. (hint-hint)
Props for their remix of success!!! its just HOT!!!
