… and we delivered! The This Is Hip Hop Community Forum is now open to the public! Much thanks to SmokeYYY who helped me put it together in such a short amount of time. We created categories that I feel are pertinent to this site and hip hop in general. I hope to create a user community where we can all hang and discuss/debate topics in hip hop. We got a spot for samples, we got a spot for production credits, we got a spot for the beatmakers/remixers, and we got spots just to hang and talk. Of course, there aren’t any posts yet. That’s where you guys come in! Come on in and register with the forum (if you’ve already registered with the site, you will have to register again with the forum… sorry, there was no way around that). New registers with the site should register you with the forum as well. Before you post, please read the posting rules. The one thing I want to make abundantly clear is that there will be no posting of illegal content (including music, movies, software, etc.). The only download links that I will allow are mixtapes, your beats, and samples (by the song, no full albums). All links will be closely monitored. Aside from that, come in and chill. Start a discussion and let’s see where this goes!
Aside from the forum, I got some other things that I’m cookin’ up including a new contest which will be sponsored by a special guest producer. Which means prizes will be awarded. More details to come on that. So stay tuned!
