Classic GangsterI’m not posting these American Gangster remix albums on the regular anymore, but every now and then there will be one that is definitely worth posting. I could not turn my back on this particular one. Jay over old school beats like Public Enemy, D.O.C, and N.W.A.? This one is classic! Hence the name, Classic Gangster.

This was done by a couple of radio DJs up in Vancouver Canada, called Jay Swing & Flipout. They really did a great job with this and that album cover is amazing!

If you love old school rap, I’m sure you’ll like Classic Gangster.

Just check out the tracklist….

PROPS!! WOW the Tape is definitely HOT, what a nice concept it is funny that there were 100 Remix LPs and no one had the thought to mix it with Old School joints! And the cover is crazy too…one of the best…

I just checked out this one yesterday. It’s a decent listen. My personal fav is Roc Boys over PE’s Welcome to the Terrordome. American Dreamin’ blended w/ D.O.C. is cool, because it has a Marvin Gaye sample in it, too. Def in my top 5 AG Remix albums (Mick Boogie’s Brooklyn Soul w/ Marvin Gaye is my #1 still).
