@max- I’m not positive, but it sounds like it could be off of Less McCann’s “Layers” album.
Maybe from the same song sampled for Slick Rick’s “Behind Bars”.
Just a wild guess, though.

Good work. I love this blog.
But that’s the wrong Cannonball Adderly song listed as sampled for ‘WMOE’.
This is the correct one, also sampled by Pete Rock for ‘In The House’, sampled on Crusified Dibbs ‘Every Record Label Sucks Dick’, and many others.

if you can find that album,maybe the sample is in that song.

A possible reason you didn’t find the sample is because the title of Hubbard’s song is: “The Surest Things Can Change” and not Come. It’s on the “Super Blue” album.
