The Chorus in Nobody Beats the Biz is derived from the Wiz Electronic Store Jingle back in the 80's. Technically is not a break but it's just a point of reference for those who may have overlooked the connection.

Great job here Kev, and much appreciated! I love the Marley Marl selection here as well. Marley was really doing his thing during this time period (and technology hadn't advanced to the point that ANYBODY could call themselves a PRODUCER). True indeed, Big Daddy Kane (Antonio Hardy if you check the credits) lent a very big hand in the writing of this album. As stale as Hip Hop has become in the year 2008, it's had to believe that things were once fun, original and creative.

Kev it is always a real treasure to stop by your spot and find out what you've highlighted by way of sample sets. Very educational, historical and fun.....many thanks.

Kev...I believe that BDK did write most of Biz's rhymes. "Albee Square Mall" one of my personal fav's. You can tell later on in Biz's career when BDK wasn't penning them joints.
