I swear by Vol. 1 as Jay’s 2nd best album. Take away “I Know What Girls Like” and “Sunshine” (even though I like the song, just not the video)…add “Wishing on a Star” and “Celebration” from Streets is Watching soundtrack and ….classic IMO. What cha think?

It’s funny you say that Thomas. Vol 1 has always been one of my least favorite (after Kingdom Come, of course). I’m gonna have to take your advice and relisten to this classic. You’re right “I Know What Girls Like” and “Sunshine” ruin this album for me. But “Million & One Questions” and “Imaginary Player” are tracks that I would have in Jay-Z top 10.

Kev- Don’t forget “You Must Love Me”, “Lucky Me”, “Rap Game/Crack Game”, “Where I’m From”, “Street’s is Watching” and “Who You Wit II” are all classics…Ok, maybe not that last one, but the rest are all lead solid bonafide.
