This Is Hip Hop Remixtape: New York Edition

For 12 weeks producers, DJs, and beatmakers from all over the world came to This Is Hip Hop for the first ever This Is Hip Hop Remix Contest. Each week, remixers had one week to produce a beat that matched the acapella that was provided in the contest. The acapellas were chosen based on the theme of New York. Everyone brought their A-game and proved that there is so much more talent out there than what you hear on the radio. The contest was both fun as well as difficult because there were so many great beats. Unfortunately, there could only be one winner each week. The winners have been compiled here in the This Is Hip Hop Remixtape: New York Edition. In addition to the winners, I have also included a few of my picks as bonus tracks.
