The Professional: Original Samples

The DJ mixtape has become a staple in hip hop. One DJ that was able to break that mold and produce his own series of albums is DJ Clue. Roc-A-Fella not only gave him a shot, but gave him three with the release of The Professional 1-3. “Hasta Que Vuelas” by Vicki Carr
^^
If anyone can find information about this song/singer please email me. I want to say the CD insert is incorrect because I couldn’t find any information about this song anywhere on the net after looking for over 2-3 weeks.

This isn’t the “typical” set we normally post, but different. As I have been looking for sets to get together….’98-00 has been difficult to find listings for. ‘98 is when Swizz/Ruff Ryders took over the game and keyboard beats were the “craze” because of Swizz…and we all know the hip hop game is a copy cat league. We have a few more sets from ’98, but wanted to know what yall think?

I like the Mobb Deep, Raekwon, MOP, and Lord Tariq songs. There were some awful songs towards the end of the cd…agree with that. I liked how MOP made a nice/sweet song “I Like It” into something totally different just by their lyrics.
