Here’s another set from Grits & Porgies, the same cat that brought us the Brand Nubian samples. Here’s what Codester has the say about the Beasite Boys‘ Licensed To Ill…
The Beastie Boys are known for their crate-digging and sample usage, and I’m sort of assuming I didn’t find every single sample they used for this one. But hey, I think I did good enough. Because the Beastie Boys used a lot of loud guitar riffs on their debut album, this one includes groups like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. In all, this turned out to be a pretty diverse mix of music that I think anyone can enjoy.
