NY state of mine was the shit, and still is… I think some of these cats are at their best, when doing a primo beat justice… He doesn’t to be demanding, because when you’re blessed with a primo beat, you should step up or step away(Im pointing at the nutcracker…)

As far as beats go, I think Memory Lane and Nas Is Like are at the top of the 2′s combinations. The thing is, Memory Lane is so perfect in mood, theme, concept, etc etc. NY State is..really is flawless too.. but Memory Lane is ..more..flawless? lol

Looking at the list…to pick only two Nas track’s is difficult. “N.Y. State of Mind” is flawless to me. Still gives me chills. “I Gave You Power” is another fav from Nas/Primo. You could have done a whole comp on Nas alone. Good post nevertheless.
