It’s been a little while since I’ve shared my iPod playlist with you all. We weren’t gonna do it again, since the response wasn’t that big. But a few people have inquired, so I put another one together. This one got a little out of control, as I incuded 21 tracks. No real criteria as to how tracks made the list… they were just songs that I’m feeling right now. The order of the tracks is based on best sounding order. Continue on for the full tracklist and download link…
- Emilio Rojas – “That Time”
- This track is simply bananas! When my man J hit me up with the video to post, I told I had to have an mp3. Thanks J! This track will be on Emilio’s new album The Nouveau Slick, due this fall. Track is produced by M-Phazes.
- Fakts One – “Longevity” (feat Rasco, Planet Asia & Shakes Da Mayor)
- This is off Fakts One’s latest album Long Range. Great album!
- Maino – “Hi Hater”
- I was gonnaput the remix up as it just came out the other day, but I like the original so much better. Too many guest spots on the remix.
- Nobody Famous – “Famous’ Laboratory” (feat Chris Young & Wax)
- This track is crazy, for real! This will be on Nobody Famous’ next mixtape Order Up, Vol 2. Watch out for this cat… double threat!
- N’Telligence – “Celebration” (feat MIDIMarc)
- Ah, this track is fire! It was hard to narrow down my fav tracks from N’Telligence’s album (Black Boy Lost), cuz I love the whole album. This track in particular those has my man MIDIMarc in his lyrical debut. I love MIDI’s beats, but damn, the dude can rap! For real. Oh yeah, and this beat is crazy hot too!
- Jean Grae – “American Pimp” (feat Median)
- Love the new Jean Grae/9th Wonder album, Jeanius. This track is one of my favs from it. The beat is pimpalicious and Median guests on it. Love me some Median! Median’s Relief is the truth… we need another Median album.
- Murs & 9th Wonder – “Nina Ross”
- Another album, I can’t get enough of… Sweet Lord. This was one of my fav tracks from the new Murs/9th Wonder joint.
- 88-Keys – “Cuddle Bums” (feat Tanya Morgan)
- This is off 88-Keys’ mixtape, Adam’s Case Files. This is a hot mixtape and I love this track which has Tanya Morgan on it.
- Oddisee & Kev Brown – “Sidewalk Jazzin”
- I’m a huge fan of Oddisee and Kev Brown. Not sure where this track comes from or how old it is. I just got it a couple of weeks ago and can’t get enough.
- Blu – “Mars” (Remix)
- This is off the DJ Heat and Blue mixtape So(ul) Amazing… love this track.
- Common Market – “The Crucible” (feat Geologic)
- This is a group out of Seattle that I recently got turned onto. The track is fire and will be on their new album, Tobacco Road, due out in September.
- The Soul Occs – “Dedicated To The Bs” (feat Punchline)
- Ah, I love a good SoulClap production! My man DJ SoulClap hit me up with this last month as a preview to his new album due out in the fall. This one features Punchline from eMC!
- Tanya Morgan – “We Doin’ Our…”
- This is off Tanya Morgan’s last, The Bridge EP. Who doesn’t love Tanya Morgan? And yes, Tanya Morgan is a group!
- Guru -” Jazzy Wayz”
- Not sure where this track comes from, but I just got ahold of it last week. We all know Guru from his Gang Starr and Jazzmatazz days. This track does not dissapoint.
- Spectac – “Rain Drops”
- My man Spec, hit me up with some heat from Superman For A Day, Clark Kent For Life! This track was produced by Khrysis. If we’re lucky, Spec will leak some more tracks to us.
- Strange Fruit Project – “Callin Me” (feat Phonte)
- I just bought this album the other day… S1’s The Music Box. Very eclectic album… this track called out to me, of course, cuz it features Phonte. However, Phonte’s got his singing groove on again for this track. Has Phonte retired from rapping?!?! LOL, hope not, but dude can sing!
- Rashid Hadee – “Get Mine”
- Another cat I follow, since I had his album Dedication on constant repeat last year. This actually isn’t a Rashid Hadee production. It was produced by J-Slikk and will be a part of J-Slikk’s upcoming compilation, Flavor Spectrum.
- Skillz – “So Far So Good” (feat Common)
- Yeah, you remember Skillz… well he’s back with a new album, Million Dollar Backpack. The album’s pretty good, but you know we had to include the joint he did with Common! Solid track!
- Termanology – “How We Rock” (feat Bun B)
- Hot new Termanology, off his upcoming album Politics as Usual. This one was produced by DJ Premier and the rest of the album’s tracklist looks insane! Can’t wait for this one!
- Talib Kweli – “Getting My Grown Man On” (feat Little Brother)
- This was a leftover track from Kweli’s Ear Drum. I absolutely love that album (it was my top album last year). This track should have made! Kweli and Little Brother? Can’t go wrong. Anyone know who produced this?
- N’Telligence – “The Rhythm”
- Had to include another track from Black Boy Lost. The beat on this one is incredible, produced by that dude MIDIMarc. So sweet…

So far so good is dopeness!
@Myk – I got this flash player from flashwidgetz.com. It allows you to add links to your own songs (which is what I did). I don’t think you can add links to youtube though.
Is it me or is anyone else having problems downloading this from Rapidshare? Keep getting an error message saying my download time has expired – I’ve tried waiting, using different browsers but no joy. Any ideas or could anyone post an alternative link? Thanks!
I’m desperate to hear your choices Kev! lol.
