1) i seriously doubt that “Barbershop” is a j dilla beat.

2) if i remember correctly, Pete Rock actually did the beat for “Future Thugs” – could be wrong, but i’m about 90% sure.

yeah, “barbershop” was by “The Studio Beatz” – care of discogs.com

Already taken care of….Studio Steve is what the CD insert says.

Anyone ever find the track from the airplane scene in “Ironman?”

Damn! This is a stupid hard mix. I’m loving the tracklist. “my guitar”? whoa. I love how yall dropped in the Mobb deep collabo as well. You also repped the “tony Montana” joint too. In terms of delivery that is one of starks best performances ever. the rapid fire flow and imagery on that track was phenomenal.

Even though i got those all these joints on various tapes and Cds the flow of this mix is so thorough it could give J-love’s Ghostface mixtapes a run for it’s money.

Yo “watch your mouth” was produced by Dj scracth from EPMD though. I dont know why that joint did’nt make 8 diagrams. It was mad chunky.

Thanks for dropping the “barbershop” joint. I lost my cd that had the extended version of it.

As heavy as these mixes have been this is probably my fovorite so far. Great job for real.

Make sure you dl to get that “barbershop” joint.

What about the song with Andre Rison (seriously) from that NFL rap album. Ricky Waters had a song on there too.

9 Thomas August 28, 2008 at 10:01 pm

Norman…I have that track on tape…but not CD/mp3. We wanted to include it in the comp, but we couldn’t find it. That track is probably only known by hardcore wu/ghost fans. If I find it I will post it

Damn son. Yo Norman you crazy on point with that “fast life” joint with Rison. Yo the joint that Meth did with ricky waters was mad sick too.

Yo i want to thank yall extra for this mix cause i aint never heard Raekwons verse off “the roservelts” J love had this joint a bunch of times on his mixtapes but it would always end with trife doing the hook. Thank you for real son.
