Hosting our weekly remix contest on the site, we have all made a lot of friends. 11 of those friends got together a few weeks ago to put together for us… a sort of “thank you” for hosting the remix contest. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when this tape was dropped in my email today.
What we have here is 11 brand new remixes from One Mic, G.C., S.T.T.R.E.S.S., BLINKY, Abstrakt Sounds, Phurcat, Isbjerg, Tokyo Cigar, C17, Dutchmasters, and DJ Mike Deck. The album is amazing and is clearly some of their best work. I see they’ve been holding out!
This is NOT the official Contest Remixtape. We should have the winner of Week 13 chosen by the weekend and then the Remixtape should be available in the next week or two. For now, please show your support for these fellas who put their heart and souls into these mixes. This truely is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. Thank you so much guys!

I hope everyone is feeling the compilation, as a lot of work went into it! I can only second the big ups to Kev, Thomas, Deez, Krome, Carsten and Beads, but also I would like to especially thank S.T.T.R.E.S.S. for all the input and the occasional kick in the ass! To all my fellow Nottinghammers – thank you sooooo much! It’s been a lot of fun working with ya’ll and I’m looking forward to the next project. Christmas is just around the corner and something is stirring in this old brain of mine!
