On Tuesday, September 9th, S.O.B.’s hosts the record release party for Kardinal Offishall’s highly anticipated album Not 4 Sale.
This album is a follow-up to 2005’s Fire & Glory, and will mark Kardinal’s debut release from R&B superstar, Akon’s record label. Not 4 Sale guests appearances from artists such as the ubiquitous T-Pain, international R&B sensation Estelle and hitmaker The Dream. The LP’s first single “Dangerous” features Akon and is accompanied by a popular video. Acclaimed rappers The Clipse also make an appearance on a track entitled “Set It Off”. Fader magazine says about the upcoming album that, “If you live in a cave with a Flintstone…you will still like Not 4 Sale.”
S.O.B.’s has become one of New York’s premier venue for Hip-Hop, having served as a platform for artists such as Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Mos Def and the venue continues to present the best that the genre has to offer. Kardinal Offishall has long been a much talked about artist in the music industry, with the release of his new album he is sure to get the attention that he deserves. Also performing will be Brooklyn rapper Shi Stimuli & K-Salaam on the 1s and 2s.
