Foreign Exchange: Daykeeper [New Single]

Props to Jason for giving me the heads up!  Apparently the new Foreign Exchange website has gone live and they have the first single, “Daykeeper”, online for free download.  This first track from the upcoming album, Leave It All Behind, features Muhsinah and should give us a nice peak as to what Nicolay and Phonte have in store for us.

not great…. but well above average. nice li’l switch up off the beat near the end too. i just hope they don’t stray too far away from what was a winning formula. pushing the boundaries is one thing but leaving them behind is another thing altogether.

(see what i did there)

i’m liking it!
definite FE sound that i think only Nic and Tay could produce.
beat is better than lyrics…i hope Tay is actually gonna rap on this album!

wow,
props for this kev.
Connected was / and still is / an incredible album. I have to say i was a bit suprised that nicolay chose to use the same sounds at the start of this track as he did in the intro to connected, but all the same when the track kicks in it truely is dope, and just makes you want to hear more!!!!

phonte’s lyrics seem to still be developing, which is rare and great to see with someone of his calibre,
props once again bruv,
peace

I like the rapping Phonte better than the singing one. Cool song though. Waiting for the album to drop!
