I meant to post this the other day, but got behind. When I saw Skyzoo put up the second archive, I figured I better get this up now before I get real behind! Skyzoo is unleashing a number of older material that he has sitting around in his vaults. I dig Skyzoo, so this is excellent news for me. He’s done some great work with 9th Wonder and the rest of the Justuce League. Here’s numbers 1(a 2005 track produced by 9th Wonder) and 2 (a 2004 track produced by Kanye West) of the archives and a quick explanation on each from Skyzoo himself…
In the first of a series i’m starting entitled “Skyzoo Archives”, I figured i’d jump it off with “Let It Bang-2005″ by me and my man E. Ness, produced by 9th wonder. This series will be a collection of OLDER material that either never came out or came out years ago before I had the fan base that I do now, and this is all leading up to the release of “Urban American Idol-The Best Of Skyzoo” (a full catalog of my older and unreleased stuff”), followed by the ALL NEW mixtape “the Power Of Words”, and then the debut album “The Salvation”. As far as this first joint, this is a song I did back in 2005 in NC when I first met 9th Wonder, Khrysis, and the rest of the Hall Of Justus. I was building my buzz in NYC and they noticed it so we did a bunch of records together in a week. This is one of them. My man E. Ness from Philly was down there at the same time so we did the record together. 718/215 banger, simple as that. “So here its is, Let It Bang-2005 (Feat./E. Ness)”, produced by 9th Wonder. Holla.

I’m literaly boarding a plane right now to China to headline 2 shows (Hong Kong & Beijing), but I still wanted to get the next edition of my archives series to you. So for this 2nd installment of “Skyzoo Archives”, I figured i’d go with “I Got It Covered-2004″, produced by Kanye West. This is a joint I did back in 2004 when I was building my buzz in NYC. It’s from early in my career and one of my secret stash joints. It’s really just a lyrical workout type of joint but with some sort of a message in it about my views on the game back then. Don’t forget, the new mixtape “The Power Of Words” coming soon and then the debut album “The Salvation” right after that. “I Got It Covered-2004″, produced by Kanye West. I’ll holla from China in a few. 100…

Thanks Kev
I really rate Sky, can’t wait for the debut album! A Day In The Life and You & Me are probably my favourite Sky joints – he’s one for the future! Also check out his homage to Premo on Get It Done by Torae; sick!! I look forward to the rest of this series too.
