This Is Hip Hop Remixtape Outtake!

I wanted to include this “outtake” on the remixtape that we released last week, but since it wasn’t officially entered into the contest I couldn’t justify its place.  Let me give you a little backstory as to how this track happened… one of our readers by the name of Matt hit me up a couple of weeks after we did the 2Pac/Prince remix week.  He said, “man I had the perfect idea for that remix, but I’m not a beatmaker.”  He said he had the idea of 2Pac‘s “Temptations” over Prince‘s “On The Couch” played out in his head and thought it’d be dope if G.C. and S.T.T.R.E.S.S. could hook it up.

So I hit G.C. and S.T.T.R.E.S.S. up, who had previously collaborated in the week 7 tag team remix.  They immediately jumped on it and this is what came out!  I sent Matt the remix and he couldn’t believe that he was hearing what he had previously only heard in his head.  I guess miracles can happen in hip hop.

Collectively, G.C. and S.T.T.R.E.S.S. call themselves Tha Trak Addiks.  I think we may be hearing more from them as a duo.
