Kanye West: Love Lockdown Video Premiere

by Kevin on October 7, 2008 · 15 comments

Kanye West premiered the video to his first single off his new album 808’s & Heartbreak on The Ellen Show of all places.  What do you think of the video?  I’m also interested to know how many of you are looking forward to Kanye’s new album.

Are you looking forward to Kanye's new album?

I’m still trying to adjust my mental, with that video.lol.I like Kanye, but WTF was that video!I’m up in the air with the song.I would have to hear a couple more cuts from that album to make a decision about the whole thing.

I can’t lie this crazy song has grew on me the only part I don’t like is when the song breaks down into the hook. As far as his album I’m gonna cop if he’s gonna use the voice box thing as long as he’s doing more rappin’ than singing that’s cool. And for the video…you have to be high on something to appreciate that video!

I like the video but I wish I could see a co relation with the song, I think the song is aight but a more direct video could have made me like/understand where he ius going with all this a lil better. But visually the video is odd but appealing.

dude, that video sucks. I was trying and hoping to like it, he coulda done soooo much more with an intense track like that, but instead the video kinda ruins it.
It seems like he was trying to do something visionary but it turned out to be just a lump of half-assed creativity that doesn’t amount to or mean anything.
His video for Flashing Lights sucked hardcore too, it had no purpose or artistic value.
Although the video for Good Morning was 5 star material
