Another collaborative effort between Bmusicsite and This Is Hip Hop. This is another set lost when Bulldog switched blogs a few months back that is getting the “This Is Hip Hop” treatment. Big Pun’s Capital Punishment was released in the spring of ‘98 and was an instant hit with the singles “I’m Not a Player” and “Still Not a Player.” I can say that this joint got mad play during my college days because of Pun’s way with words and the top notch production he received from Juju, Rza, Showbiz, Rockwider, Young Lord, and others. The sample set is another good piece of music as well. My personal favorite is Young Lord’s take on Michael Jackson’s “With a Child’s Heart” and how he turns it into a dark banger. Other notables are the O’Jays, Canibus, and Earth Wind and Fire songs. Download and enjoy!!

Thank you for finding the “Fast Money” sample. Been looking for that for a minute lol.
Wait now that I just heard “North Carolina”, I don’t hear the sample at all. Is it supposed to be the drums or something?
Its the drums.
There are still some missing. Bulldog did this one, but I had it in the que. I found some additional ones, but there are more to be found. We’re cleaning out our “incomplete/unfinished” folder to move on to the next set.
If you find any more go to http://rapcredits.com/wiki/Capital_Punishment to add.
