He should've done it at a low key spot in LA. Hollywood wont go for it.. I'm from Long Beach, and I frequent to LA... A LOT. Not ALL of LA is jaded.. you gotta go to downtown LA or literally any place OUTSIDE of hollywood you would get some love. If you ever have to go to Hollywood, you have to go to low-key spots. Q-Tip would've definitely get love in these areas, because people who visit these areas really do appreciate the music- especially HIS and his era. Damn, I missed this show? I appreciate my comment was maybe a bit naive. It's a shame it has to come to that though, more about selling than quality. That is why Soldier Boy was so big, I guess? Murs, def has more that 17k fans, but with the opportunity to get the CD before release, on line, with the means we have, I'm sure that it has been DL far more times (As with any album, surely). Maybe the label should push him more? I don't know. I don't know how it works. At least there are guys like you that support, stand up and celebrate their work. It had a good feel to it. FlamesYall I agree its about the music, but the artist (s) have to live and survive. They need numbers especially on these major labels to remain there and get their music out to others. Look at what is going on with Murs....only 16,980 units sold (the last time I checked).
