How is this not pure rape?

If hip hop is indeed dead, er at least stagnant, a large part of the problem, is our continous obssession with two dead rappers.

Rape? Are u serious? Mixes like this are what keep dead rappers music alive….. Mad Props to Cookin Soul

From the snippet I heard, there are little to no new B.I.G. verses on this.

So in the other words, whoever is behind this is just feeding off Biggies name, to get a little recognition for themselves.
Why not use their talents to produce some living rappers, so the living can prosper?

And you say “keep dead rappers music alive” like it’s a good thing.
    I don’t think it is.

I haven’t heard this, but I think we’ve heard all of B.I.G.’s verses. These are over different back drops obviously.

What’s the problem or issue with keeping two of the genres best a relevant part of the culture? Other genres keep their “best” relevant. So I guess we forget about Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Phyllis Hyman, etc because they are dead? I see it as homage.

Not sure what the issue is.
