Common: Be [Original Dilla Version]

by Kevin on November 14, 2008 · 9 comments

This gem comes to us from DJ Eves‘ new mixtape Laced With Gems, which is hosted by Oddisee. Apparently J Dilla was originally supposed to produce a good portion of this album. If you’re wondering how that would have turned out, check out Dilla’s version of the title track “Be”.

On another note, I can’t seem to find DJ Eves‘ mixtape anywhere. The tracklist looks incredible, but maybe the tape’s not out yet. If anyone has a link, hit us up! Check the tracklist….
