Well, Deez called it… his favorite Kanye produced track, “Get By”. I’ll agree with Deez, what Kanye did with the sample is amazing. But are you familiar with what Timbaland did with it? I think Timbo was definitely inspired by Kanye to use the sample, but he put that umph on it like no one else can. What do you think?

Who flipped it better?

I like what Tim did with the track, but “Get By” is such a powerful track in all aspects…its not even close. Mr. 808’s & Heartbreak.

im rollin wit kanye on this one… n i think timbo was more inspired by the fact that the sample sounds like shes sayin timbaland instead of bein inspired by kanyes flip. but i like em both. I love the shock value album and kwelis my fav emcee… but kanye got it. although tims is a bit more funky haha…

Tim was in the realm of his shock value vibe for his track, but KW did his thing with this one.Two totally different vibes.

I gotta say that KW ripped simones track to shreds, its more complicated when put together but it really works, Timbo literally sampled it and it still gets you going but its far more interesting the kanye way :)

Although he used the same sample, Timbaland’s track uses the sample more so in a way that Felix Da Housecat used it in his famous mix, so i would be willing to bet that kanye’s sampliing of this record had little to no influence on timbaland, unlike kanye’s bring me down to timbalands kill yourself
