Q-Tip with The Cool Kids, The Knux in Fort Lauderdale

Club Revolution in Fort Lauderdale played host to an excellent hip hop show this past Wednesday night. It was The Knux, The Cool Kids and Q-Tip. It was a night full of amazing music. The venue was electric with the excitement and anticipation of seeing a hip hop legend rise again.

Unfortunately I was unable to make the show, but I know a few people who did. Shaun Flagg over at Skope Magazine just wrote an amazing review on the show and found a video clip of the Cool Kids (see above). I heard the show was great and I know someone else who has more video footage. So as soon as I get a hold of that, we’ll put that up as well.

This kid represents the fans. He is a bit of a goofball but you can’t fault him for his enthusiasm. He is the face of the young and coming-of-age fan base that are supporting hip hop by buying albums by bands like The Cool Kids. Props to Alex for showing the courage to get on stage!
