Traphik, Wax, D-Pryde, and Young Blaze give us a version of “Swagger Like Us” that totally blows away the original! T…., Jay-Whova, Lil What, Kanye Where? Ya’ll big guns can retire now, these young cats are ready to take over!
By the way, Wax literally KILLS this track. And in case you didn’t know, his new album, Liquid Courage, with EOM is available now. COP THAT ISH!

I can’t believe how much Wax devours this track, it’s kinda scary
Jay-Z & The Engineers – Reasonable Gangster

(from HHIR):
“Now here’s an American Gangster remix album that I’ve been waitin’ on for quite some time. This one’s called Reasonable Gangster, and as you might imagine it combines elements from Jay-Z first and latest albums, Reasonable Doubt and American Gangster. Vocals come courtesy from AG of course, but the cool thing about the production on this mixtape is that the original beats from RD are scrapped. Instead, The Engineers re-flipped and re-tooled the o.g. samples from RD and crafted them into their own creations. Very, very cool. I’d like to think that my sample set for Reasonable Doubt was somehow involved in this process…”
btw…wuddup Kev!
i heard it yesterday on youtube and it blew my mind. wax is definately a cat that needs a record deal real bad. shit is a shame…btw, didnt he sell about 10.000 selfmade mixtapes? i think i read it somewhere! dont know…
anyways, keep an eye on him!
he actually got one of my beats in his “beats for the future”-folder. lol
I actually enjoyed this track very much. All 4 emcees did their thing. I honestly couldnt tell any of them apart though. Lol. Dont know if thats a good or bad thing. Probably the only time Ive actually enjoyed Wax.
apparently D Pryde is out of Toronto too!
i been playin the original a lot and have fallen in love w/ it, so the most i can do is acknowlege that these guys are ok, but…ti’s verse…whoo.
