Ah….its been a week or so since I attempted a Who Spit It Better? This time I have the correct tracks and and correct sample lined up.  This go around we pit Scarface against Cormega and Jadakiss (feat. Nas).  Even though its Scarface Day…gotta go with Mega.  Mega always paints a vivid picture when he rhymes; plus it’s his ode to the music we love HIP HOP!  Can’t get any better than that..huh?

At what point is that bassline sampled i listened to it and cant find it?

  • Thomas

It’s within the first 1-2 mins of the song.

  • Thomas

Listen at 30-40 seconds of the song. You’ll hear it. I listened to this joint no less than 30 times before we put it up. I know I got this one right. Its real subtle.

30-44 seconds actually. You’ll hear it!

Same bassline is sampled in a Living Legends song as well, forget which one but it’s off Legendary Music Vol. 1… Bit of West Coast variety to add to the mix??
