Sup guys, a little late, but just in time for their latest release, Liquid Courage, which has been crack for most in only its first week of release. Wax & EOM announced the results for the remix contest for their track “Air Timpani,” originally featuring D-Pryde. With over 200 audio submissions and another 100 via YouTube, it is safe to say that this contest was a success. Especially considering that Jake One threw one via Rhymesayers and got about 400 submissions and a prize to give out, Wax and EOM were very pleased with the turn out. The judging process was apparently a very difficult one and the coordination was a little troubling too, hence, the not-so-good quality of some of the verses. I truly do want to see more of these. Giving up and coming cats a chance to at least expand their audience and perhaps surprise someone. Good looking out, you two.

I had a go at it, ended among the Top 15 which I’m more than happy about consodering it was the first time I wrote and rhymed in years… seems there’s things you never lose. Lookin back at it, I can see why I didn’t make it into the final few, it’s probably cos even though my rhymes were quite hard, I didn’t put much energy in the delivery cos I’m used to kickin it to smooth joints. But yeah, competition was bananas and the guys on the final cut definitely bring the heat

I’m second last on the remix. My friend Mode also got top 15, we we’re both surprised as hell when we found that out lol. Especially considering we’re both Australian and apparantly there weren’t many international entries.
I still wanna hear Praverb’s entry and some of the others that made top 15 but didn’t post their stuff up lol. Anyways contest was dope and wax and eom we’re heaps cool for running a thing like this. Too bad only Kody, An0maly and Rage getting any props from utoob listeners lol.
