Did someone say Dilla? John Q from Lyrics To Go hit me up to help out with the samples to Slum Village‘s 1997 demo album, Fan-Tas-Tic Vol 1. Although this album was heavily bootleg in ’97, it wasn’t officially released until 2005.
The samples included in this set as really great and show that Dilla was an amazing producer.
Edit 12/6: We were missing a couple of samples in our original post. One of our readers, Jeff, came through and hooked us up. He also sent a few tracks that were better quality. So if you downloaded this when we first posted this morning, you may want to redownload. Thanks Jeff!
