Common has been putting out quality music for over 15 years and within that time, he has released a handful of hard to find remixes and b-sides. Those rare songs have been tracked down and put together in this very exciting compilation called Cool Common Collected. The entire span of Common‘s career is represented here starting with 1992′s “Breaker 1/9″ produced by a very young production team called The Beatnuts, all the way through to 2005′s “The Corner” (Remix) featuring Scarface and Mos Def, with production from Kanye West. But for all the years inbetween those two tracks, Common has dropped some killer remixes and b-sides. He has worked with some of hip hop’s most sought after producers for these rarities including Pete Rock, Large Professor, DJ Hi-Tek, Jay Dee, The Roots, Mark the 45 King and more.
