2008 has been a great year for the homie Trav Williams. Back in May, he released The Trickle Down, which has my vote for independent hip hop album of the year. Then he came back at us a few months later and dropped the Bootlegs and B-Sides. Now, just in time to wrap up the year, Trav drops The Learning Curve; a mixtape of freestyles and gems.
I’ve been in touch with Trav and he’s kept me up with all the project he has in the works for 2009. One of which we hope to get the help of the producers on this site… more details on that later today. This mixtape right here though includes freestyles of “Jockin Jay-Z”, “Fuu-Gee-La”, “Get By”, and “Get Money” amongst others. We also get 2 new tracks produced by our very own GC and of course, a Trav album would be the same without him… the return of Pee Duble. My favorite track on here is GC’s “ClockWork”… a masterpeice! 20 Keys mixed the tape… download this ish now!
