Only 12 hours into the new year and 2009 is already looking to be a great year so far. This is a mixtape I’ve been personally waiting for and I think a lot of you have been too. The Dilla tributes will probably never cease. Here’s Termanology’s effort, hot off of last years’s album Politics As Usual. If this is any indication of the quality of mixtapes we’ll be receiving this year… wow.

damn just yesterday I read an article about Jay Dee’s last days which is here http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061127/ENT04/111270003 if anyone is interested, so sad. now ima get that for sure!!!
I saw Dilla in concert here in the UK about 4 months before he died. He was on stage, in a wheelchair, wrapped in a blanket. Frank n Dank had to carry him down the stairs to the stage, to ‘perform’. All that could be seen under his hat and above the blanket were his eyes. He definitely looked happy, despite his discomfort. He also managed to spit the occasional word or sentence, but was really just there to give his love and appreciation. Dank was virtually in tears toward the end of the show. I had a quiet, reflective journey home, honoured to have witnessed an absolute genius and all round beautiful human being sharing his passion, talent and love with his fans.
damn man. i cant download it. dont ask me why. have no clue…

Yo Flames, i did witness the same thing in Paris but it was just after london i guess with F&D and PhatKat. And we had the absolute pleasure to have dilla’s mom on stage with us. Greatest concert ever.
Im at a crossroads…I find Term boring beyond belief when hes a feature artist and I love Dilla…So the question is, do i check it out or not…
