Honestly, when will the Jay remixes stop? I’m a Jay-stan as much as the next guy, but it’s gotten to the point where the originals are starting to sound refreshing. No diss to this project; I haven’t heard it yet. So please check it out. We need some new acapellas for people to remix though.

When will other artists going to release their acapellas i.e. Nas, Common, Outkast, Scarface, etc.
I luv remixing Jay, and if I had ‘Kingdom come’, I would do that too, but I agree and I want some fresh acapellas… All I got left are… Aesop Rock, Nas, J-Live, Lord Finesse, Ghostface,snoop and Biggie… I need some new fun projects…
Yup, these other emcees need to get hip.
Jay’s a living legend….it would be a dream (I would think) for any producers to work with him…even from a far.
I’m biased though.
OK seeing as I’m from the UK and I’m a huge fan of both Jay and Radiohead, this album instantly caught my eye! Here are my initial thoughts…
First off, this is very well produced – this is no slap-dash effort. The Radiohead tracks have been chopped up, looped and often beefed up with additional drums/synths. The result is pretty banging, I have to admit!
Standout tracks for me are Wrong Prayer, 99 Anthems, Dreaming Up and Change Order, which uses one of my favourite Radiohead tracks, ‘Gagging Order’, to superb effect.
There’s not a duff track on the album, although admittedly some of the mixes don’t work quite so well (‘Fall in Step’ for example).
Overall, for Radiohead fans it’s a must, but I’d also be interested to see what some of you guys with no Radiohead exposure think of it because I’m perhaps slightly biased!
Opening track Wrong Prayer should get your head nodding regardless! Enjoy…
