Ill Poetic & Zone: 2 Dope Boyz

Ill Poetic hit me up with some more heat the other day…

“2 dope boyz” is Ill Poetic and his partner in rhyme Zone (that dude) (also heard on “City of God” off “The World is Ours” LP). Together known as Definition in the early 2000’s, they haven’t dropped anything as a group in a while.

Zone and Ill Poetic will be releasing Zone’s debut album/mixtape (all original material) with Mick Boogie and Terry Urban, entitled “That Dude’s Mixtape” this March. It will feature the likes of T3 (Slum Village), Naledge (Kidz in the Hall), Pryslezz, Dwele, and Ill Poetic.

And, by the way, this song existed way before their knowledge of the site with the same name.
