It’s been a long time…. if you’ve been a visitor of the site for a while, you may remember the Thursday Throwback series we used to put together with smokeYYY from ThatRealIsh.com. Well, it kinda tapered off, but I wanted to bring it back for the ‘09…. but differently. We used to just showcase certain hip hop songs or videos. I wanna bring the old mixtapes back. So starting today and every Thursday, well be takin’ you back to the old school with some of the dopest mixtapes that were floating around in the 80s and 90s.

Yo Kev you wilding out with this. I loved this series. I bumped into Tony in Fat beats a while back and was giving him mad love for this trilogy. He told me that he was working on a Power Cypher album. I hope he still plans on releasing it. ( i know the industry fucks up a lot of albums but cats really need to have that album out )
