I’m not sure how many Game fans we have on the site but I was pretty excited when The Game dropped his third album, LAX, back in August 2008. It was far away from being a classic like The Documentary but I think everyone can agree that it was a solid LP.
What you’ll find here is a collection of tracks which were recorded while Game was workin’ on LAX. Almost every track here is an unreleased leftover from LAX, with features from Lil Wayne, Akon, Anthony Hamilton, Fabolous and productions from Just Blaze, Cool & Dre and Scott Storch. Once again, Rapidshare has shafted me. Does anyone know why some files always return a “Your IP address is already downloading a file…”? I tried the LAX Files file, it didn’t work, but I could download another file from Rapidshare. Bug-tastic!

Si, it could be because you’re going through a proxy server. A proxy only has one IP address, so if mulitple people are going thru it and trying to download stuff off rapidshare, only one of them (whoever’s first) will be able to download. The rest will get that message “Your IP address is already downloading a file”.
You can try this in IE: go to Tools->Internet Options->Lan Settings and then untick “Use a proxy server for your LAN”. Theres something similar in Firefox.
If it’s already unticked then it might be something to do with your ISP. (E.g. your ISP might automatically be putting you thru a proxy)
S.2, thanks for the advice, but it seems to be a bug with particular files. For instance, I tried to download LAX files and it didn’t work. So, I tried to download another file immediately (without resetting my router – I do not have a static IP address) and it worked. I tried downloading the LAX Files afterwards and got the “Your IP address is already downloading a file…” message. I tried another file right after and, guess what, it worked without incident. Bizarre, huh?
It looks like it is just a quirk with certain files (it could be an ISP issue, I guess). Lord knows what is causing it, as the problem stumps everyone that I ask!
