Brief Biography: “Music is the soundtrack of my life.” That basically sums me up in a nutshell. Every song whether it’s on CD, cassette, vinyl, MP3, or even 8-track, reflects a certain aspect about me. I have a passion for music and it has been that passion that has helped me push the Halftime Hip Hop Show into a whole new atmosphere in such a short period of time that I’ve been hosting it. It may say it’s a hip hop show, but I focus on other urban music genres as well like jazz, reggae, reggaeton, soca, etc. The show is about giving people an alternative to what is currently on mainstream radio. Not saying that mainstream is bad, but the mainstream does not define what is all out there. The HHHS is a platform, a mouthpiece if you will that gives people the opportunity to get their music heard minus all the b.s. but also giving a nod to the pioneers of urban music because without them, all this wouldn’t be possible. I pride myself on being able to help push artists to the next level and many have taken that next step even further. People are drawn to the show not just because of the music, but also the voice behind it. Listeners can hear the passion and love for the music and they know that they are guaranteed to hear a great show. I do what I do not just for me, but more importantly the people because at the end of the day, that’s who the HHHS and I cater to.
