Jay-Z mentor, Jaz-O, trying to get back in the spotlight by dissin’ Jay over his own “Brooklyn (We Go Hard)” beat. Whatch’all think? We also got the official remix to the track featuring Foxy Brown and Wayne Wonder. Grab em after the cut…

I thought the Jay-z jab at Jaz was a little wrong on his part (on I Do It For Hip Hop), but .. wtf.. Foxy and Wayne Wonder? lol

I guess getting Jay-z’s product is a little bit of a shot

Obviously a “HEY I’M STILL ALIVE” moment. Jaz is really bitter over the way him and Jay went. I think he said some real stuff, but the Jay Stans will not believe a word of it.

dissing Jay Z in 2009? really? way to be 10 years late on being relevant. Jay Z heads that would been affected by this stopped being hardcore Jay fans with Kingdom Come, so really this windbag is preaching to the choir. I doubt Jay Z will take his time to record a response, which is really what fuels these “beefs”

    What’s first rule of beef?

You HAVE TO come harder than the man you’re trying to diss.

    So epic fail for Jaz-O

JiggaMan’s shot at Jaz was uncalled for..but hey..maybe he’s calling him to the stage to see what he can turn the opportunity into. Imagine where Nas would be if Jay never dissed him…No Ether..No Comeback

thats true but really how many times can jay give the man…jaz-o needs to stay in the background maybe make some more beats and call it a day…lol…Ain’t No Nigga was a classic beat and crazy how he had to loop it…

Nas didn’t need dissing Jigga to prove all of us he is the best rapper alive, to me. he actually was even before that. Jigga and Nas’s beef is just human, It was all just about both Emcee’s egos. I would even rather say about their own pride.

The only fact that differenciates them is that they have different artistic styles who are we can say complementary, they both bring their tribute for hip hop. In their own way

About Jay-Z, my opinion is that he is much much more focused on business than Nas, who is more a lyricist.

Nas has somewhere kept on hip hop’s original vocation, that is really felt, to me, in the untitled album.

I mean, sure, we didn’t hear in Untitled bangers and all that stuff that are now the norm in most of “mainstream” hip hop artists, but my point is that Untitled is a real strong REVENDICATIVE album, with the question of Blackness (if some french readers can translate the word “negritude”, sorry for not finding the right word), history, black people codes, etc theme that is related in all tracks of this album .

Untitled incarnates to the real vocation of hip hop, I mean fighting for real ideas, no matter the eventual earning the artist could make with it, no matter the hype it generated, I just say that it is a courageous conviction Nas delivered us, not only for Untitled, but (almost all) the previous albums.

Nas is credible rapper, a real modern poet with a credible careeer… , same for Jigga man, who has my special mention for being a good businessman. That’s my word.

    Peace

once again very nice work, props to TIHH
