Rhymefest Breaks Down The Charles Hamiliton Fiasco

by DJ Grain on March 22, 2009 · 9 comments

This January I am sure everybody heard the Rhymefest diss track aimed at Charles Hamilton. I just came across this video in which Chicago MC Rhymefest breaks down hip hop, manhood, Charles Hamilton, and life in general. ‘Fest makes a lot of points especially the ones about how the average fan of hip hop does not know the history of rap music. Sad statement but true. Be sure to check out Part 2 of the interview.

He drops alot of jewels. Some of these young rappers don’t have any respect for the culture and people who came before them.

With my comment I will say that Pink Lavalamp is a pretty good internet released album by C. H….can’t front on that. To me it seems like the young guys want to get to the finish line before running the race. Instant success, stardom, respect comes from hard work….not one year of internet celebrity.
