Honestly, I’ve never been much into DJ Quik until I put this set together.  The smooth production and his laid back flow makes me wonder why he doesn’t get as much attention as Dr. Dre does regarding production?  The set is 17 songs deep, but it is obviously missing a few vocal samples and unknown joints.  Knowing our loyal fan base…. somebody will come through.  Hit the cut for the tracklist and link….

Quik is one of the most underrated producers in the game…Dre gets all the shine, but when u ask Dre who he phucks wit’..he’ll say’s Quik without a doubt

There’s a Junior Murvin sample that was used on one of the tracks… I think it was “Bombudd”.

Run-D.M.C. – Here We Go (Live at the Funhouse) vocals are in “8-Ball and
N.W.A. – Compton’s in the House was used in “Born and Raised in Compton” I believe.

We have some other west coast related sets coming…probably not until Kev comes back. Quik’s second joint, Ice Cube’ 3rd joint, and a Compton’s most wanted…..and oh…….EE as well.
