Jay-Z Shelves Blueprint 3 Indefinitely

Looks like Jay-Z‘s long awaited Blueprint 3 may never see the light of day. In a recent interview with MTV, Jay seems to have had enough of Kanye West and his over sized ego. The two superstars are currently not speaking and haven’t spoke since this past weekend when an argument sparked in the studio.

Jay was quoted as saying, “Blueprint 3 is over. It’s never coming out. Kanye wanted to take it in another direction and that just ain’t me.”

Apparently, Jay and Kanye were in the studio over the weekend laying down the final masters for the album. They were planning on releasing it on September 11, eight years after the original Blueprint came out.

According to eye witnesses, Kanye tried applying autotune to the whole album without Jay’s consent. When Jay found out, he confronted Kanye who let his ego get the better of him and told Jay that Blueprint 3 will be nothing without him and if he wants to use autotune, then he’ll use autotune.

Jay told MTV, “Kanye and I are through. It hurts me to say it; he was like my baby brother. But he’s gotten too big. He doesn’t respect me like I deserve to be respected.”

Jay continued to say that he will quickly return to the studio with Just Blaze to work on Kingdom Come 2.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if this was real and not an April joke. It’s no news that Kanye’s ego has gotten inflated and that he’s taken a strong liking for electro music (see his last album). Also, to give you an example of how insane the man seems to be, he was recently quoted as suggesting that the reason he gave up emceeing was because he wanted to become one of those eternal stars you’ll find on black-and-white posters, like Marvin Gaye. I was never convinved of the man’s rappin skills and now him singing like Marvin? Please!

    Basically its convincing only to someone who’s completely oblivious of the relationship between the two. Obviously I don’t know either of them like that but, nah its way too dramatized. Ah well, now that that’s out of the way, let’s see how many views/comments it gets.

Those arent even close to comparable dog. If your talkin bout Classics from the water down popped out Jiggy era which is after 2001 sure.     Nah i dont rate wayne highly at all. Its far too easy to simply compare one album to another, especially something like college dropout which was so recent. Besides that how you gonna assume shit like that when im posting at this website right now? I love all them albums and many more but that dont immediately mean i think Kanye’s wack KMT

    Why was college dropout a classic? Kanye perfected his soul production craft for me and if you cant at least give dude that i think your hating on a next level! Two Words wasn’t classic? Get Em High? Through The Wire? All Falls Down? Family Business?? College dropout defo wasn’t a watered down album. Even if you hate dude you gotta respect his craft.

    college dropout is not better than all those albums but in my opinion it is one of the greatest hip hop albums i have ever listened to. you can tell that Kanye was inspired by RZA and Marley Marl with those high pitched soul samples. He used his inspitrations and made a totally new style of production and that was evident in college dropout. Then his lyrics had originality and deepness and his songs were well put together. All of what i said is why i think it is a classic

    Wow I can’t believe all the hate towards Kanye on these comments. Yeezy is running rap right now whether we like it or not, him and Weezy. I trust Kanye though, he really puts his heart into everything that bears his name on it. That Blueprint 3 needs to drop ASAP, there hasn’t been any albums on repeat on my deck since Untitled (Nas). Common disappointed and so did Luda, well I did bump the Recession for a hot minute and the new DOOM is pretty good.
