Orlando based emcee Godamus Rhyme has never been scared of a challenge. This was the attitude that prompted the creation of his newest release 6th Sense vs. Godamus Rhyme: The Adventures of Rhyme & Sense. The mixtape, which contains songs recorded to the instrumentals from the Feb. 2009 release, It’s a 6th Sense Beat Yo!, was inspired by a challenge from illRoots.com founder Mike Waxx: “To All Artists: Whoever can kill at least 10 of these tracks and come with a concept and artwork, we will sponsor your tape.”

Upon downloading 6th Sense‘s mix and reviewing the contents, Godamus quickly determined that 10 was not enough. “Once I heard the quality of the music, I knew I had to kill every beat on there. Who else would be crazy enough?

First putting pen to paper on March 2nd, Godamus worked tirelessly. Rapping, singing and recording day and night, he emerged on April 3rd with the completed CD. “It took me about 2 weeks to write. The rest of the time was spent in the studio and doing the art. I could have done it faster, but I got a 9 to 5.” When 6th Sense was asked for an opinion on the project he said, “He went in. I can’t believe he actually did the whole thing. Respect.”

The Adventures of Rhyme & Sense will be available for free download on April 28th, 2009 via his website, MySpace page and twitter, as well as other media outlets.
