Jermiside Remix Contest Winners Announced

We promised a winner for this contest by the 13th and we’re only 2 days late… I think that’s pretty good! Before we get to the winners, on behalf of Jermiside, DJ Grain, and DJ Low Key, I’d like to thank all the producers who participated and sent in remixes for both “Crisis Times” and “Never Seen A Thing”.  Lots of heat came our way and it was tough for us to commit to a final 5 let allow one winner for each remix.

The winners are announced after the cut, but lemme just give you all a quick update on some of out other contests. The winner for the Classified Remix Contest has not been announced yet. The winner will be picked from Classified himself. With a new album out (Self Explanatory) and tour, he has not been able to sit down and determine a winner. We will get that announced as soon as he gets back to me. But I am proud to announce that we will be starting our next weekly remix contest this Sunday! That’s right, if you were a fan of our New York Remix Contest, 90s Remix Contest, and IllTravis Beat Contest, you will definitely dig this one. The concept isn’t totally original, but I feel it’s one that really hasn’t been touched much and it’s one that a lot of you will enjoy.

Ok, so onto our winners! As previously announced, the prizes are:

1. The Never Seen A Thing Remix will appear on Die Jerm Die Vol 1. Mixed by DJ Low Key
2. Crisis Times Remix will appear on Die Jerm Die Vol 2 (The Features) Hosted by DJ Grain
3. BOTH winners will recieve a prize package from Akomplice Clothing
4. The songs will also be included on Jermiside & The Red Giants MySpace pages respectively and the winners will receive a CD/Promo package and also 10 copies of the mixtapes when they drop this summer.
