After reading Reasonable Doubt Deconstructed by Dan Love (part 2) and learning that “22 Two’s” has an additional sample other than an interpolation of Tribe’s “Can I Kick It,” the search began.  Through our “e-digging” efforts we were able to uncover the track and have it for you’re listening pleasure!

Loop comes within the first 90 seconds of the song, but the entire song is beautiful.  If you don’t have the complete Reasonable Doubt sample set, head on over to Ivan’s place and grab it. Props to Dan Love and Passion of the Weis for a dope drop and revealing this sample.  “Bring It On” is next on the list.

you know what i think would be cool? a list of rap lyrics that have been used by other rappers. you know? cuz alot of times i’ll here the same lyric in like 5 different rap songs and i always wonder where it originated. one that i’ve wondered about for a long time but i can’t seem to find the origin is the whole “Six Million Ways..” idea. anybody know where that came from in the first place?
