Eazy-Duz-It: Original Samples

This set has been sitting in our queue since our West Coast Week waiting for some finishing touches.  Well, we’ve found all of the samples that we can identify and its a good mix of P-Funk, Hip-Hop, and good ole break beats.

This album was released one month after Straight Outta Compton and was a hit, eventually selling over 2 million units.  I remember first viewing the video for “We Want Eazy” on Yo! MTV Raps with my friends and was instantly hooked on Eazy and N.W.A..  What I love about these mid/late eighties albums are the layers upon layers of samples that were used to create these albums.  Definitely can’t sample like this in 2009.  Enjoy!
