Sorry Kev. I am not sure I am feelin this. However there was clearly some hard work put in. To me, Brooklynati is just boring at times. All 3 artists have their highs and lows on the album. Their delivery definitely needs work at times. The beats seem to overtake them sometimes. I don’t really enjoy more than a handful of songs on here. Not sure what is with the Hardcore Gentlemen skit. It seems like they are taking a subtle poke at Pharcyde (only one single?), and not in a good way. I still loved that track though. Album of the year? Definitely not. Above average album? Yes. I actually like this album a lot better than Relapse. I thought that album was horrible. I don’t plan on listening to Relapse ever again. It SUCKED.

I don’t know if I can say this is the album of the year because I am stuck on Finale’s album and can’t seem to allow anything to take its spot. BUT….this was a DOPE ass album! Anyone who isn’t picking this album up is missing out on a great record. One of the best I’ve heard in a while. They really thought about to construct this album and you can hear it throughout. Definitely pick it up!!!!! Your ears will be happy!!!
