Busta Rhymes‘ long awaited eighth studio album finally hits stored tomorrow. It has been a long road for Bus since the release of 2006’s The Big Bang. The original release date of Busta’s follow up was December 7, 2007 and it was to be named Before Hell Freezes Over. The album was pushed back over and over again and went through many name changes (Back on My Bullshit, Blessed, B.O.M.B.) before being finalized as Back On My B.S.
Though it’s been 3 years since Busta’s last official release, it sort of seems like he never really left. In addition to the numerous features and remixes Bus hopped on, he continued to record and put out music in support of whatever album he was going to release next. We took it upon ourselves to collect a good majority of those tracks that were supposed to be on Busta’s next album. We don’t have them all; there are actually a good handful of tracks that we are still missing. But at 33 tracks deep, this collection goes hard! Don’t forget to support the actual release of Back on My B.S. tomorrow!

We put the whole set up as one download, but for those that still burn CDs, you can easily split this set into 2 discs.

Havent really liked much busta has done since he hit the steriods and shaved his dreads……PLEASE BRING BACK WHEN DISASTER STRIKES!!!!
Anyobody heard his new Album?
I’m very disappointed…
The Big Bang was muuuuuch better…
Yeah, the Bootleg to “Back On My B.S.” was 10 times better….
heard the new album on napster yesterday and.. nah.
like theo said.. big bang was a banger.. this thing is only boring and sad.
yea for real im not even buyin’ it, this is pure crap im tellin’ ya. “Decision” by Focus and Dre is the only beat that grabbd my attention. i can’t believe how poor is this album, mainstream shit! at least “respect my conglomerates” is okay but that’s it. the album has no soul, it was not worth the wait…
it’s definatly some B.S. MUSIC!! =)
Kev,
Good lookin’ out on this collection. As I can see, yet again, you put the work in FOR REAL!!! I am interested in hearing the bootleg version that Renz was talking about for Busta’s album. Yeah, Bus is a great MC and always captures my attention. However, his albums seem to fall short of expectations for some reason. Peace
DOPE!! I’VE BEEN WAITIN FOR THIS ALBUM FOR SO LONG. I LOVE BUS!! HE HAS TO BE THE MOST ENTERTAINING RAPPER IN THE GAME!!
i’m gonna say plainly….this isnt Busta rhymes at his BEST…..i love him to death but the album isnt all that………lyrically there aint much….let alone production-wise…….THE BIG BANG IS STILL IS BUSTA RHYMES BEST ……..the big bang was way better!
^True Busta Rhymes is more LONS-ATCQ type ish from back in the day imo, or even party anthems like Light Your Ass on Fire and Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See, not really Big Bang type shit (though BB was an okay album)
The ‘Big Bang’ was great – this ‘BOMBS’ though I haven’t messed with. I’m listening to it on Napster before I touch buying it, maybe just grab a few tracks to go along with this ‘Before the BS’ tape, which is great BTW. There are a few tracks I tend to skip through (since when is Busta slangin’ coke?) but overall it’s pretty great.
